Scholars' Stories

“The Project GRAD Staff has always encouraged me to follow my dreams and to never give up. They are a good team who help students with any problems they may have and have always shown genuine interest about the future of so many students.
The scholarship they are offering to me and others will be a great help and make a difference in our lives by bringing opportunities to many students who want to attend college but may not be able to afford it. Receiving a scholarship from Project GRAD will mean I achieved success for all the effort I put in these four years at Porter High School. I will begin at the University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College and transfer to the University of Houston to pursue my plans to study Architecture.
My family and I feel very grateful for this program being at our school.”
