What We Do

Project GRAD helps more students graduate from high school and succeed in college by providing a wide range of supports.

We partner with local school districts to create a rigorous college-bound culture from pre-K through grade 12 and into college. GRAD creates a comprehensive net of supports for each student, helping each participant work together efficiently, involving parents, educators, a local board of directors, community organizations, volunteers and local colleges and universities.


Project GRAD asks students to aim high, setting their sights on college from an early age. GRAD partners with teachers and parents to ensure that students receive six critical elements:


It’s true. We guarantee a college scholarship of $4,000- $6,000 ($1,000-$1,500 annually) to all students in all schools partnering with Project GRAD who meet our academic standards and graduate in four years.

GRAD has made more than 10,750 scholarship offers to date, totaling more than $40,000,000.

How do we do it? Through their generosity and investment decisions, GRAD's local boards underwrite student scholarships, working together with philanthropic, corporate, and individual supporters. They also help students leverage their GRAD achievements and support to raise thousands more private and public dollars.
